World-renowned violin pedagogue Betty Haag-Kuhnke first introduced her unique method to the Chicago area and founded her own school of performing arts thirty years ago.

The Music Within Us™ teaching philosophy is based upon the belief that all children have high potential for learning to play a musical instrument if exposed to the proper guidance and environment at an early age.

This highly unique and successful approach draws upon Haag-Kuhnke’s traditional conservatory training, accomplishments as a professional performing violinist, and her work with Shinichi Suzuki in Japan.
