For the past thirty years, Haag-Kuhnke’s students, ages three through seventeen, have gained international recognition through their performances in this country and abroad, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, the East Room of the White House, the Vatican for Pope John Paul II, and numerous appearances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The performing group has also traveled to Russia, China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Kazakhstan, and Australia, and has toured Europe numerous times.
The children have been featured on national television programs such as Phil Donahue, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News with Bill Kurtis and Diane Sawyer, and Kids Say The Darndest Things with Bill Cosby.
Alumni of Haag-Kuhnke’s program are now at the Juilliard School, Curtis Institute, performing professionally, and also accomplished in a variety of other fields.
